Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Combining Ketamine and Psychotherapy for Transformative Mental Health Care
What is Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy and how do we use it?
At Silvi Integrative Health, we offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as part of our trauma-informed, integrative care approach. KAP combines the powerful benefits of ketamine with personalized therapy to help address treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and emotional distress. As part of the growing field of psychedelic-assisted therapy, this approach can support nervous system regulation, deepen emotional insight, and promote lasting resilience – often helping clients experience meaningful breakthroughs in fewer sessions. Our experienced team provides KAP in a safe, supportive environment designed to guide transformational healing.
How Ketamine Supports Emotional Healing
Ketamine helps create a temporary state of neuroplasticity – meaning your brain becomes more adaptable – allowing you to process difficult emotions and break free from patterns of depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Enhance the Therapeutic Process
Ketamine assisted psychotherapy enhances and amplifies the effectiveness of complementary therapies such as EMDR, biofeedback, and neurofeedback.
Who is a Good Candidate for KAP?
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy may be a supportive option for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, emotional burnout, or trauma that hasn’t fully resolved with traditional talk therapy alone.

Average session length is about 45-55 minutes.
What is the difference between a ketamine journey session and low dose ketamine assisted psychotherapy session?
Journey dose – refers to a low to moderate dose of ketamine that allows you to enter into an altered state of consciousness. People often experience ego dissolution in this state and gain insight about patterns in their life from outside of themselves. This insight is then integrated through psychotherapy as the effects of the medicine wear off. These session are typically three to four hours long.
Psycholytic dose – refers to a low dose of ketamine that allows you to be present, aware, and talkative. This dose typically helps open you up to yourself, lowering your defenses so that therapy can be more productive. These session are typically two hours long.
